inactivated FMDV strains: A Euro/SA 2022, A Africa G IV 2022, A Iran 05, O PanAsia, O
PanAsia 2, SAT 2 Egypt 2012, SAT 2 Libya 2012 TYPES in aluminum trihydrate and saponin
adjuvant. (PRODUCED FROM VIRUS GROWN IN BHK-21 CELLS)
On farms located in the buffer zone where vaccination has been carried out, young cattle shall be vaccinated starting from 4 months of age, young sheep and goats from 3 months of age and revaccinated every three months till the animals are 18 months. Adult animals shall be vaccinated every 6 months. In outbreak areas all clinically healthy animals shall be vaccinated, in infected zones and on farms where no vaccination has been carried out all animals starting from the age of 1 day shall be vaccinated twice at 10-20 day interval. Afterwards young cattle shall be revaccinated every 3 months till they are 18 months of age. Adult animals shall be vaccinated every 6 months
Cattle, buffaloes, camels and deer: intramuscularly (in the third upper part of the neck or in the area of the rump) Sheep and goats: subcutaneously in the inner thigh.
